In my opinion every one should know about this. Every one. I've always been curious about where exactly our food comes from and what it's like growing our food. What's it like to be a farmer in the present time. I'm sure that most of us have the image of the classic american farmer. But really think about it. every thing is consentley changing. There are way more people to feed now then their where in the 1800's so ... what's farming like now? How do we feed all these people? Why is American the fastest country in the world? Why is there more health issue? What is my food made out of? How do they make it? What was our food make like in the past? What's the camparison of the food from what I eat now to the food my great great grandmother eat? Now I know that the film does not answeer all my Q's. I also understand that many people are going to have different opinions about the film. Thats okay every one has an opinion. The ability to voice My Opinion and hear what other peoples opinions are is a beautiful thing about American freedom.
What's your opinion on the film? Does this change your opinion on food? Its it your opinion that every one should know about this?
Here are my opinions; I rate this film 5 starts a must see. About my opinion on food I've never considerd my self much of a carinvore, but in my opinion itsmuch of an eye opener as to what we feed the animal that we eat. A lot like mercury in fish. Or if you feed your pig candy canes then your hams going to tast sweet. Also in my opinion I am going to vote with my food purchases in the way that I beleve is healthy the way that God would want me to feed my family and my self.I remind you that what I said is all my opinion. And we all have a right to your opinions
I'm vary curiouse to see what your opinions are?

Definite MUST-SEE film! Everyone and their momma needs to watch it, even though it just barely scratches the surface of our food problems here in the US. Eat all-natural, organic, grow your own food, raise your own chickens, BE AWARE of what you put into your bodies! Another great movie that elaborates on Monsanto's wrath (mentioned in Food, Inc.) is "The World According To Monsanto".

I saw it last Friday. It was powerful and definitely changed my shopping decisions this week. I already knew a lot of that information since I was an Agriculture - Animal Science major in college. But I didn't know about the GMO's and a few other things. Instead of going the closest main stream popular grocery store, I went a few miles out to a more natural food grocery store. I spent a lot less money because a lot of the food labels turned me off. I bought a lot of organic produce(all of which was cheaper or the same price than non-organic). I'm already a vegetarian but I do eat a lot of dairy. My son and husband eat a little meat so I really scrutinized the chicken this time around. I'm glad you watched it! I wish everyone would!

Fast Food Nation is another eye opener. Both are really good. I watched a PETA movie a few years ago and it changed my mind forever in regards to the food I eat and where it comes from.

I'm obsessed with this movie. I find excuses to talk about it lol. I'm currently reading Michael Pollan's The Omnivore's Dilemma and loving that as well.
