Insanity Workout?

I started Insanity almost two weeks ago. Prior to Insanity, I was doing my own body weight workouts every other day and cardio 3x week. I'm a college athlete, so a lot of what I do isn't determined by me. I lost most of my weight in the past three months (21 lbs) and am trying to lose the last 9 lbs. Got on the scale this morning and only lost 1/2 lb. I've been on a 1900 calorie diet religiously and do my insanity workout every day (in addition to short ab/quad/hamstring workouts every other day). Is there something I'm missing? I'm 5'9'', 164 lbs and 19 years old. Thanks!

Congrats on giving Insanity a go! It's an awesome program and you can get amazing results!
A lot of people don't start seeing much improvement on the scale during Insanity until the second phase as your metabolism is being thrown through a loop due to the switch in HIIT (going longer for HIIT and shorter for rests whereas it's normally the opposite).
As for my own personal experience, I didn't lose much weight on the scale when I did Insanity BUT my fitness levels went through the ROOF and when you put my side-by-sides together it looks as if I lost about 20lbs! So keep at it and don't let the scale determine whether you'll keep at it or not. It'll definitely work for you if you commit!0
