Hello, I'm new here. I am 33 and the heaviest I've ever been at 13st 8. I'm really struggling to lose weight because I'm disabled with spinal deformities that cause a lot of pain and affect my mobility. I've found as I get older, my mobility is getting even worse and my weight is going up. I also take medication that has, amongst it's many side effects, weight gain.
I don't do much apart from sit and knit or draw. I don't eat a lot of junk, although I do have the occasional biscuit or two with a brew. I don't smoke or drink, I really think my main problem is just how sedentary I am. I'm terrified that as I get older and bigger I'll fall into a viscous circle of extra weight = more pain = less mobility = extra weight.... and end up absolutely huge and unable to do anything about it. I know I'm already experiencing it a bit, and that has scared me into trying to do something about it.
So, yeah. That's me.
