Ahoy-hoy, everyone!
My name is Michaela and I'm residing in Alexandria, VA. Up until two years ago, I was a teeny-tiny thing (a size 0 with room to spare). Whether it was stress, my metabolism slowing down to a crawl, or my inner "fat" girl clawing her way out, I ended up gaining a considerable amount. Now, I'm a 24 year old who weighs around 170. Luckily, I don't feel like I look as much as I weigh (my pant size is a 7 to 9 depending on the brand), but when I stepped on the scale and actually saw the number, I nearly cried. I figure today is as good a day as any to start eating right and exercising.
Currently, I'm set up on a 1,200 calorie a day diet and plan on working out 3-4 days a week. I play the Wii obsessively (mainly Just Dance), and have an elliptical at my disposal. I don't plan on getting a gym membership (the only one nearby is Gold's, and they are ridiculously overpriced considering you have to fight someone for machine time). As a total foodie, I'm absolutely horrible at diets, so I welcome any helpful tips on staying on track.
Please feel free to add me. :flowerforyou:
