Hi,
Last year i managed to lose 4 stone yay! But the last 2 are not budging so i was thinking of doing diet chef where all the food you eat is delivered to your door.
I never trust their site success so my pals do you have any?
How much did you lose over how long and which one did you choose? TIA

Hiya!
I've just started using Diet Chef... I'm a student so the convenience of it is amazing. I've lost 4lb in my first week (with a smidge of cheating... My partner and I have been together for two years, so we had a celebratory dinner ).
I'm really enjoying it so far. For me, I'm a greedy git and I like my grub: you give me a humungous portion and I'll eat it without thinking. The great thing about DietChef is that it's all portioned up for you, so I can kind of switch off from wanting anything else after. It's a little annoying having paid out for the the food already that you have to then add your own fruit and veg to make up the calories and fibre and whathaveyou, but it's not so bad.
Anyone else doing DietChef?0 -
I do think it seems ideal because i spend too much time trying to plan my meals and then the more i think about food the more i eat its catch 21. So i figured if diet chef can do the thinking that leaves me to just focus on the scales.
Glad you have had a great success so far and hope it continues. I have just ordered my first months so fingures crossed x0 -
My friend tried diet chef, she wound up loosing a stone in 3 weeks purely cos the food was inedible, waste of money in my opinion just plan ahead and don't buy food you don't want to eat0

I'm currently eating the equivalent from Rosemary Conley so know that the food is OK, but it's fairly limited in choice. I've just ordered Diet Chef as there is a lot more choice which I know will help me avoid boredom! I know that some will say that these prepared foods aren't great for you, but I look on it as a jump start to my weight loss. While everything is new i'm happy for all of my portions to be sorted out for me. I can concentrate on logging my foods, cooking a few vegetables and getting used to how much of everything else should be on my plate. I've purchased a treadmill and the next thing I want to concentrate on is fitting in a jog each day. Once these things fall into place, I intend eating the prepared meals every other day so that I get used to making the right food choices, and putting the right amount on my plate. Eventually, I will cut them out altogether and hopefully by that time, I'll have eased myself into a new, healthier lifestyle0

@Deathlylooks thats easier said then done. I am a single mum (living alone) to a12month old, I have a job and I am studying for my degree. I hardly have time to pre make my meals. I do only buy good food but then dont have 30+mins to stand by a stove cooking so wind up buying a takeaway so these diet foods are my only option at least until my little lad is less demanding on my time.
Diet chef are doing 50% off atm so it will cost me a lot less money this month so I will give it a go. The meals i chose sound lovely so i will feedback on my progress.0 -
Hi, I'm new to both this site and have also just started Diet Chef, first food parcel arrived today. First impressions - very impressed, portions are actually bigger than I'd serve myself!! My problem is under eating then getting hunger pangs and binging on biscuit and bread with Lurpak. MMMmmmm Lurpak!! I'm not far from goal weight but struggling to shift the last 9lbs due to bad eating habits.
So I decided to try diet chef as nutritionally it will be better for me and cost wise it will work out over a month around the same if not slightly less than what I would spend on food anyway.
First DC meal - I had the pea and ham soup for lunch - really good.0
