some say raw broccoli can affect your thyroid, but only if you have iodine issues already…and cauliflower has the same affect. So, I would just stick with your steamed broccoli instead of dyed cauliflower.0 -
yes, but does it taste just like pizza and alfredo sauce?!0

That's my question. If you can't eat broccoli or don't like it, but like cauliflower, then why not just eat cauliflower? It doesn't need to hide as something else.0 -
bump!
zomg this sounds AMAZING! totes gonna try this tonight!

well, that really depends...did you grow the broccoli yourself in your garden? If so, you're golden...but if you bought it at a grocery store then you're getting into varying degrees of processing and everyone knows that's bad. If you have to get it from your store it's best to buy it fresh with the full stocks...do not buy it fresh in a bag of just florets or frozen...at that point, it's just too far processed to be of any value to your body.
Cauliflower is exempt from these rules because cauliflower is white...0 -
Or, you could just eat broccoli.....0

Then it wouldn't be a very good substitute for broccoli would it?0 -
OP,
I have a question...
I make my cauliflower out of homemade pizza crust dough because homemaker is better than store bought anything.
Will the technique change?
What if I want to make broccoli cheese soup with it?0 -
My little boy claims broccoli and cauliflower are the same thing, just that cauliflower was scared when it was picked and that is why it is white.0

This post inspired me. I decided to utilize the cauliflower as a meat substitute and dyed in brown. Unfortunately it resembled well...use your imagination and I did not find it appetizing.0
