can I lose this much??

Hey! I'm currently 132lbs. We have about 17 days left of January, if I work hard, could I lose 7-8lbs and get down to 125lbs by the end of this month?

    IMO, with your current weight, it's doubtful. The closer to your goal weight you are, the harder it is to lose, and it takes much longer. Your body simply does not have the fat stores to constitute large losses like you see in people with a large amount to lose.

    Set your MFP goal to .5 lbs/week and truck along. It'll take time... but you definitely won't reach it in 17 days no matter how aggressive you are. Think about your health too.

    Not unless upon your starting weigh in you are full of poop, had just eaten, bloated from excess sodium, and drank a gallon of water right before getting on the scale.

    17 days of hard work is not going to keep you at 125 lbs for the rest of your life. Why put so much unnecessary physical and emotional pressure on yourself?

    I wouldn't try since that would basically some type of really drastic dieting or exercising. And even then it probably wouldn't happen that fast. Especially if you want to do this the healthy way. If you need to look a little extra slender for an event or something, invest in some Spanx while you lose weight healthily.
