There is a post on this site for a 200 cal pizza...well..i wanted to try it....but despite looking at several places..i could not find the flatout wraps.
As such, I modified it a bit...and bought the Damascus Whole wheat roll-ups (110 cal each, with 10 g protein) ($2.50 for a pack of 4)
First i cut bell-pepper, onion, mushrooms - and put them in a non-stick pan which was first sprayed with Mazola cooking spray (picked it at a local grocery store, 0 calories). I sauteed the veggies for a few min.
Then, I took out the roll-ups, and spread about 1 spoon of Prego pasta sauce on it. At this time, I cut some fresh tomatoes and also threw them on the roll-up.
After that, keep these roll-ups on a aluminium foil and put them in the oven at 350 degree for 2-3 min (till i saw the tomatoes kind o cook a bit).
I then took these roll-ups out, and spread the sauted veggies and cheese on them, and again baked them for 5-7 min till the cheese melted.
Oh..As we like spicy food..I also cut a fresh green Jalapeno and threw it on the roll-up, along with some salt and black pepper.
Once it came out of oven, it was difficult to eat it like a pizza...so me and my fiancee just rolled it up like a burrito..and it tasted yummy!!!
I was more generous with cheese on his roll-up, and was more generous with veggies on mine
Calories:
Damascus whole wheat roll-up...110 cal
Kraft Mozarella cheese 1/4 cup.......70 cal
Green bell pepper 20 strips....10 cal
Mushroom 1 cup....15 cal
2 Roma Tomato raw medium...30 cal
Pasta sauce 0.1 cup.....9 cal
onions 0.25 chopped cup....15 cal
Total = 259
Also, I want to add that this is a great website!!!:flowerforyou:
I am a person who always dreaded cooking, and my idea of diet food was 'lean cuisine' and 'WW smart ones'. But, I am now constantly looking for recipes on this site all the time, and want to thank everyone who are helping me learn how to have a healthy lifestyle...and most important....as they say......."Have my cheese...and enjoy it too"!!! :flowerforyou:

You've come to the right place, Baby!!! We will envelope you in support and every now and again there is venting going on. Sort of like your typical girls' night out, but we are all meeting on this site and not some bar or whatever!
This is also a great place to have a glass of wine, chat with your MFPeeps (thanks to Kerridodson for the term), and you NEVER have to worry about having to drink and drive. I will warn you, tho, we are all a bunch of crazy, zany ladies (and gents) who you will want to get to know more of!! You will be in good company on this site.
***WARNING!!*** Be prepared to fall in love with all your MFPeeps, as I have. They are like family to me now, and are extremely forgiving if you don't have a chance to comment on their successes on any given day.
WELCOME! :flowerforyou:0 -
