Crossfit...sit-ups....bloody butt

So pretty regularly we do sit-ups in crossfit and I end up rubbing the skin off of my butt causing a sore. Any one have issues with this? It's so weird.

That sounds painful! What kind of pants are you wearing and what kind of surface? Is it something that might be fixed by having some thicker pants/undies or even a towel under you?

Probably moving around too much which is why skin is coming off.

I have what has been described as a pancake butt and it can hurt without some meat between the ground and the bones. They make pad for football players that include a tail bone pad that may keep you from wearing a hole in your back side.

    I usually wear running capris
It's cement with a rubber covering
I try to keep still, I tried doing them with my arm by my side with thumbs kind of tucked under my butt. Thought maybe I use my arms to much

Use an abmat/ I do crossfit too and using an abmat got rid of that.
