I have a question, so iv been at this for about a year which most of it was trial and error ofcourse. I came from 212 to 172 with alot of cardio and body weight exercises. My question is now that im down to 172 i feel im alot closer to my goal of 155-160 and my body isnt losing fast anymore no matter how much cardio i do. Should i focus on the body weight lifting more now than cardio as long as i stay in a caloric deficit?

From my own experience I would! I love cardio- mainly because I feel when I sweat and I'm exhausted I've done something. But I've been seeing a personal trainer for the past four months and have noticed more changes in my body since doing more weights. (My body fat dropped by 3% in two months)
If you enjoy cardio I wouldn't remove it completely as it's googd to have some level of fitness but maybe include it as an interval session or a warm up when you are doing weights.
I've been told by my two trainers that the best way to burn fat is through weight training and much as I hate it I'm beginning to agree!0 -
That sounds pretty good. I actually like weight training more than cardio but always figured cardio burnt more fat but now that im getting leaner it isnt doing as much as it used to. I think im just going to keep it brief like 10-20 mins for warm up activities. I want to focus more on weightlifting anyway as it seems to be doing more for me now. Thanks for the advice0
