Why isn't Isagenix working this time?

OK So I know its early and I know I shouldn't panic but...I am. I did Isagenix a couple of years ago and had a lot of success. I have gained back about half the weight I lost (so about 10 pounds) and would like to get rid of it before an upcoming vacation. SO...I decided to do Isagenix again. BUT the first time I did it, the pounds just melted off, especially in the first week. I know its only Wednesday and i have only been doing it for a couple of days but the scale has only moved 1 lb. Before everyone jumps on me about it being great for 2 days, I just remember it coming off way quicker last time and wondering if anyone knows if there is something I could be doing differently. I realize it isn't the best program for long term maintenance but desperate times call for desperate measures right? :)

No. Desperate times do NOT call for desperate measures in this circumstance, unless you want to be back here again after gaining weight back again. Learn how to fuel your body properly, exercise and create sustainable, long-term habits. Stop trying to find the quick fixes.

Why is this desperate times? Probably aren't going to find much support for quick fixes and crazy programs because they aren't sustainable and your just throwing your money away... Its a cleanse program, half of these companies don't even tell you what your using but people just use it.. Cleanses and detoxes are just a way for you to waste money on a product that your body already does with a decent nutrition plan.

Why don't you save your money for the vacation and just eat less and move more?

Maybe you should of started earlier with losing weight then waiting for Jan 13th to start? I want to be in a better shape for my 32nd birthday in March I didnt wait til this month to start I started in Sept to give my self time to lose the weight. It doesnt happen over night just like gaining doesnt happen over night

Are you dehydrated? Because if you were to start with, that might explain why that water weight isnt coming off to give you that first 5lb drop that made you so excited last time. PS. You didnt really lose ten lbs of fat last time which is why you gained it back.

How long have you had this vacation planned? And why didnt you plan ahead?
  • there is a reason the weight came back once you stopped using Isagenix ... desperate times do not call for desperate measures, and why is a vacation a desperate time? Eat to live not live to eat, exercise a little, and go enjoy your vacation. 10 lbs will not make your vacation miserable.

also to add, the older you get the harder it becomes to maintain the weight you currently are. What worked for you 5 years ago might not work as well today.

also weight loss is never linear, one day could gain and another lose

build healthy habits instead of constantly doing harm to your body with these "quick fix" junk diets

Why are people always freaking out over vacations they're about to go on? I'm guessing most of those people have gone on many vacations and will probably go on many more. It's a few days out of the year. No biggy. Just work hard on getting fit for the next one. It'll roll around in another few months.
