Eating on the go

My job includes a lot of local travel, so I spend a lot of time in my car and office buildings that are not mine. I try and bring veggies, fruit, or granola bars so I can avoid the fast food places, but that gets super boring after a while. What are your favorite healthy on the go snacks??

Well, other than fruit, which is a total favorite of mine, I like cheese sticks. They come in more than just mozzarella flavor, too. (:

If you have to eat Fast Food - you can always hit up a Subway or Taco Bell (the Fresca foods are awesome for low call options - only 165 calories for a Taco!).

I keep a bag of boiled egg white in the lunch thermal for snacking. Some days thats even my to go breakfast or lunch. I don't like the yolks so I eat 5 whites at time and is really pretty filling and VERY low calorie. I look nuts carrying a bag of egg whites around but I can deal with that.

Edit: I'm on low carb, so this may not apply to you. Sorry for posting without my brain plugged in.

I know it's not a snack, but I drove through Burger King last night and a got a low carb double whopper. They put the meat and cheese in salad platter and put the toppings across that and they give you a knife and fork. Not something I would do every day, but it worked in a pinch. And it was pretty tasty, too!
