OK it's week 2 and my boobs are already shrinking!

I got dressed this morning and my bra is way too loose (this is a good thing by the way, I don't want to look like a porn star when the rest of my body is slender:laugh: Fat lady's breasts on a skinny body = not a good look for me )
However, my dilemma is this - when do I go and buy new underwear? This is only the beginning of my weight-loss journey, I have 39lbs to go. But I don't want' a saggy bosom and I can't afford to buy new bras every week. Any advice from you lovely people?

Well if this was my case (and I hope soon will be) I would either get one of my older bras or borrow from my mum/friends/whatever.. or wait one or two weeks more and buy a cheaper one. But remember to keep working on your breast area whilst youre losing weight0

Well hard for me to advise, because from the way you write it sounds as though we have very different issues (I was attracted by your title...same thing happened to me...but I didn't have much to start with and now look like a pre-pubescent little girl! Agh!! Wonderbra, please help!) but I would say that the support is VERY important at this transitional phase.
Appreciate cost is an issue (never been so poor than when I started buying protein supplements, so much fruit & veg, gym memberships etc!) but I guess you HAVE to have a well fitting sports bra to work out in anyway? (Unavoidable regardless of shape, size or bank balance?? Don't want the sag!!) Can you not just get one with nice shape and support (some of the Shock Absorber ones are really nice!!) and wear that under your regular clothes too until you "level out" a bit and can buy some regular bras?0 -
I'm not sure if you have them where you are but I would recommend the sports style bra, they are sort of a one size fits all (small, Med, Large x-tra large). that may get you through the weight loss journey. then you can buy the size you need when your at goal. the sports bras are quite reasonable in price.0

Thanks for all the advice - I think I'll get a couple of sports bra's to wear until I'm at my goal weight, then I'll go and get properly measured and sex up my underwear drawer!0

I used to be a 42EE, and I'm now a 32D.
However, they don't look like D's. In fact, they closely resemble two aspirin sitting on an ironing board0 -
I could starve for six months and still have big boobs (maybe something to do with being postmenopausal)
However I just bought a great new sports bra from M&S for £16 and that gives great support for when I'm in the gym. they are sized like 38DD , 40c but because of the shape I don't think the cup size is that critical0 -
That's really helpful, I shall go to M&S later today. Thank you! I hope they don't disappear altogether though. I want to be slim but I still want to have curves in all the right places0
