Imitation crab? Too good to be true?

I bought the slightly more expensive imitation crabmeat at my local Asian mart to try it, it was 60 calories for 4 sticks and almost the same weight as the one I usually get which is 110 calories. It was very good but I have a hard time believing it was that low in calories. Anyone know if imported food is accurate or regulated? I'll take a picture when I get home to share the details, but was curious if there is a catch here...
Thanks all.
Thanks all.

Hard to say. Careful of the sodium in that stuff.0

Life's too short to worry about such things. If you are going to stress, probably not worth it. But I say count it by the package and measure the results.0

Considering the added sugar in the ones at the market here, I'd say its certainly possible.0

The kind I buy is 90 calories for 4 pieces which is 85g - does the package say how many grams is in a serving??0

Ive been chopping it up with a little siracha as a no mayo snow crab.... pretty good!0 -
Imported or domestic, if it's sold in the US it's bound by the same nutrition labeling laws.0
