Chalean Extreme Foods?!

Hi everyone :) So, I'm starting Chalean Extreme next week on Sunday or Monday (probably Sunday because I can do all the burn circuits every other day instead of skipping multiple days because of my work schedule). Anyways! I want to know what you all ate that have had success with the program! Even if they weren't great results, I would still like to know if you're willing to share. The thing is- I would love to be able to cook all the meals from the guidebook and follow everything to a T, but honestly it's too much for me. I work about 80 hours a week; a full time job during the day and a part time job at night plus I'm a full time college student. Cooking every night just isn't realistic for me right now. I wanted to see what you folks have eaten throughout the program and if you followed the guidebook or did your own thing! Any information is appreciated and if you have success stories or results then please feel free to share any input :) I love seeing motivation!! Thank you!

  • Forgot to add- I'm 160 pounds (gained SO much on birth control and starting college with poor eating, etc.) and 5'6. Looking to lose anywhere between 20-40 pounds, depending on how tone I am and how happy I am at 140. If not, I'll change my goal to 120, which is what I always weighed. Anyone had similar goals at this weight and successful?
  • Bump.. Anyone? :)

Just stick to your calories goals. If you have your protein set to the MFP default, you might want to raise it to help with muscle repair.

I did ChaLEAN back in mid oct - mid nov. I only did the burn phase. I have to check my stats but I didn't lose much. However, I went from an 8/10 to a 4. I did 22 days of burn instead of 20. I eat low carb.

I just stuck to my goal. I only lost 10 lbs in those 3 months but I lost 3.5% of body fat, which isn't bad I guess considering I was eating at a deficit. I didn't follow it exactly though... I don't like the cardio DVDs so typically just walked instead (and had walks on lifting days too). I'm still doing the push phase 3x a week now.

I never looked at the diet though... do they recommend eating at a deficit at all? I'm guessing not. I can't say I've noticed much progress in 3 months strength-wise.
