Hi ya there, I've been lifting for quite sometime now and I have decided to enter a cut phase but I'm a little confused about how many calories I should be consuming in a day to achieve maximum fat loss.
I'm 5 ft 4 inches, i weigh 170 lbs. thanx in advance

Maybe you should set your goals on MFP settings will give you your calorie intake. I'm 53kg-165cm and I was on 1200

are you currently maintaining your weight? if so, you just need to take 200-400 cals off how much you are eating at the moment so that you are in a calorie deficit.

I'm currently eating 1700 calories, most calculators say for maintaining I should be eating 2400 cals but i'm not in maintanance, i still have fat to lose. I have had tremendous results eating 1700cals but i haven't seen much of a change recently with the 1700 cals as I did 3/4 months ago. If I lower the number again to 1300-1400 cals/day won't that be too huge of a deficit? or should i just give it a try? I work out 6 days a week 3 of which I do intense cardio and the other 3 I split train. i
