    I'm 73kg/161lb/11st 5 to cover all bases, and wear a UK 12. I'm 5"9 and though I have broad shoulders and massive ribs, most weight is in thighs so my waist is a happy 12 but my thighs are a 'reeeeeally, you want to do this to us' size 12 :P

    I am almost 5ft9'', I wear a size 14 (UK) for most things and weigh about 205lbs

    I am an hourglass shape and carry most of my excess weight around my hips

    As US 14 is a UK 10, not 12!

    I know this because I'm a 12 and always feel stupidly delighted to buy an 8 in the states.

    im 5ft 8 and weigh 12st 4 and wear a size 12 , when i started losing weight i was 13st 8 and a size 14, althought people always tell me i weigh more than i look (maybe muscle idk) so i think it will depend on how you lose weight as if you're working out a lot you may not weigh as light as others do at a size 14 as you may gain muscle mass. good luck!!
