 I work the graveyard shift and I'm finding it difficult to manage meal and exercise time... I last week I started a poplar 30 min. workout program.
Any suggestions will HELP!

hello sister of the night!! lol

    i work 12hr shifts........are you on 8's, 10's or 12's?
meals are the same as someone on a "normal" schedule....
when you wake up eat your "breakfast".....2 other small meals and
a couple of snacks throughout the nite.
exercise........when you get off in the morning.....get a workout
in, shower and hit the pillow.......

I find that working out after work is best for me--by then I've eaten most of the day's food so I've got enough energy to really push myself. Some shifts I do morning workouts (before an evening shift), but those are never as "good" as the ones after work hours.

As far as meals, I make sure to pack lots of veggies and fat-free yogurt for snacks, and I bring a really good herbal tea that tastes like dessert (Tetley warmth) for those late late hours when all I want is sugar.
