I've struggled with weight most of my adult life. I've lived with both extremes of weight problems. From bulimia to being just plain fat and out of shape. I'm very active in the summer months with softball and golf. I'm tired of being overweight and struggling to be my best when playing sports. 2 years ago I was 20 pounds from my goal weight and suffered a torn Achilles tendon while playing softball. I sunk into a deep depression due to 8 months of inactivity to recover. I gained most of my weight back and spent 2 years feeling sorry for myself. The yo-yo effect of weight loss and gain needs to stop. I've changed my mindset and now realize that getting healthy is a lifelong commitment. I'm hopeful that this time will be my most successful. I made the switch from Calorie Count because I feel MyFitnessPal offers a wider food database and hopefully more member support. Here's to the beginning of the rest of my life.
