Yoga as a stress reliever

I've been thinking about trying yoga to help relieve the stress associated with infertility that I've been dealing with for the past 16mo. I've always avoided yoga thinking it wouldn't be a good work out. I consider a good work out to be something that leaves me dripping with sweat and out of breath (think Jillian Michaels/Insanity/P90x). I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to begin? Or if yoga has helped you with regards to stress relief. Thanks

In 2008 I was crushed by a horse and had to slowly regain the use of the left side of my body over several years. Yoga has helped with pain management, stress, confidence, weight loss, etc as I was relearning to use my left arm, and then as I got comfortable and experienced in yoga I've moved onto heated vinyasa classes, which burn a lot of calories, require a fair amount of strength, and still give me all the warm fuzzies in terms of mental health. There are many types of yoga, but I'd definitely recommend it! I had to start with gentle (yin) yoga because I was so badly disabled, but then I moved on up. I'm not a fan of hatha or bikram, I get bored with holding the same poses again and again, or holding a pose for a long time, but I love vinyasa.0
