Hi, I started my weight loss last year around this time. I lost 20 lbs within 3 months and then didn't move from there. Over the summer I took a break from trying to lose but kept off what I had lost. In the last month I have started working on losing again but haven't made the scale move yet. So, I am getting serious again and plan to have another 20 gone before Christmas!

    welcome and congrats on loosing the 20lbs, You can do it. just jot down your food and exercise, get moving and dont give up

    Hi, I am new too! Congrats on your previous weight loss! Exercising in the morning is key for me...I follow a 1200 calorie diet and cardio right now. So far its working! Keep up the good work!
  • Congrats to your previous weight loss. You can do it! Put your mind to it and buckle down. You already know you did it once, so you can do it again.

    You and I have similar stories... lost 20+ pounds over a few months and then maintained for the rest of the year. I'm also looking to lose another 20 lbs before Christmas. I joined myfitnesspal as I began gaining motivation to lose again, and I think that is really the key: having motivation to stick to it. We already know what works -- it's that consistent implementation that is key. Reading other people's success stories is motivating to me; I also like to watch the videos on MSN of people who have lost weight.
