Minnesota newbie - Eat to Live fan

:bigsmile: I should have introduced myself last week when I joined, but I got started, and then read the rules of MFP.
My story, many years ago I slowly started to gain weight, and I've been on the yo-yo for a long time, losing 20, gaining 25 for years. Now I'm a grandmother, and while I'm happy to be old enough that people have stopped asking me when my baby is due (FAT - NOT PREGNANT!) I still hate being overweight.

I also have some clinical depression issues (my life is great, my chemical balance is now better with RX) and I think when I get to eating poorly it's a landslide downhill to the sweet and salty fix that just raises the belly.

Mostly I appreciate having a place to record what I eat; it keeps me honest with myself. I also appreciate being able to read what is going on with other people in similar predicaments.
