Hi! I had my gall bladder removed nearly 9 years ago, since then I struggle after eating fatty foods etc. my macros are currently set at carbs 50% fat 30% protein 20% - this is what mfa set for me. I'm thinking I should definitely up the protein - was hoping someone could help with this please?

I am just giving this a bump for you. I had mine removed 4.5 years ago, and it is something I have thought about, too.0

I might have to have my gall bladder removed pretty soon here, and lacking a fat-processing organ is not necessarily something I'm looking forward to. What is it that you struggle with after eating fatty foods? Is it the terrible pain, or maybe it makes you feel sick...? Any insight is greatly appreciated!0

i just had mine removed about 2 weeks ago and havent had any issues around food as far as pain or discomfort goes. Granted, I havent eaten a big bowl of ice cream yet but its not off the table yet.0

I get really bad stomach cramps, trapped wind and frequent trips to the toilet if I have too much fat. Not as painful as the attacks from the gallstones but enough to make you roll around the floor . Have read a lot online and it all suggests a high protein low fat diet, I'm just not sure how high to take it0
