5x5 with slight injury

Hey guys i played football on wednesday and the top of my foot slightly popped. Now ive torn my ligament and pulled my tendons along it many many times and it was in the same place but it feels like it didnt quite tear just a bad pull. Its still a little dodgy when i move around though and feels weak. I dont know wether to take today off from 5x5 as obviously carrying weights around probably isnt the best thing. also im not objecting fully against it because i want to lift! my main concern is that if i miss my workout will that mess up my routine and ruin my gains? any advice please!?

I don't think anyone here is qualified to give you advice. My suggestion is to seek a medical professional and ask their opinion.
Wanted to add - you will lose more of your gains if you injure yourself and are out for a few months.... just to put it into perspective.0
