I am almost always over on my protein intake for the day... the last couple days, I've been spot on... But I was wondering if too much protein would affect my weight loss in a negative way? Does anyone know?

Protein helps with muscle recovery and muscle building. I find that many people aren't concerned with their muscles at all. They just want general "weight" loss. If you're exercising then I wouldn't be concerned with being over a little on protein. You can go up to MY HOME and adjust your goals (percentages) in the GOALS tab.0

I suppose it really depends on HOW MUCH protein you are getting. Generally, it is considered acceptable-ideal to take in 1 gram of protein for each pound you weigh (especially for athletes and/or those working out pretty hard). Soooo...150 pounds=120 grams of protein. Now, this amount of protein intake is more for those are in training (heavy cardio/weight lifting) and trying to build good solid muscle. And keep in mind that way too much protein can be very hard on your liver.0
