Sabotage

I wan't going to step on the scale. I knew that if I didn't see a change in a week I would feel discouraged and give up. (This is my pattern).
I stepped on the scale.
No change.
I was depressed for one hour. Then remembered it probably isn't best to weigh yourself on a day that you have sat around snuggling a sick kid, eating hearty potato soup.
I stopped being depressed and grabbed the 32oz water jug.
I am back on track to healthy living.
I will NOT step on that scale again.
I don't need the scale.
I want to see non-scale victories.
