Also since you are eating back your exercise calories...you have your fitbit adjustment and then you are adding walking...that's double logging and giving you double the exercise calories.

I was wondering about how that works (just got it for Christmas). I am actually considering un syncing them because it is just confusing me!! haha

I use a fitbit and I love it. It really takes the guess work out of your TDEE. Try just going off the fitbit adjustment for a few weeks (not logging the exercise in MFP). It is much more accurate. MFP overestimates your calorie burn!

My average daily calorie burn on fit bit is between 2,400 and 2,800. So your saying keep eating the 1200 calories and just don't log exercise on myfitnesspal? (Sorry - told you the fitbit confuses me!!)

Ok this is how I have mine set up...

I went into settings on MFP and set my activity level to sedentary, MFP will tell you how many calories you would burn in a day with that activity level. Mine was 1910, I want to lose 1 lb a week so I took 500 from that number. (you might want to do .5 a week since you don't have much left) So my food allowance on MFP is set to 1410. I synced the fitbit and it will add exercise calories to my daily food allowance. I eat those.

I hope that makes sense. If not you can message me.

ETA: DONT keep eating 1200 calories. When fitbit is synced correctly you will see how many more calories you can eat!

If your daily burn is an average of 2600, then eating a flat 1600 every day would be a 1,000 calorie deficit for 2 pound per week loss. This is way too aggressive of a deficit for losing the last 10 pounds. You should be shooting for half a pound per week, or a deficit of 250 per day. This would have you eating over 2000 calories per day.

You should slowly up your calories by a few hundred every week until you are at 2,000.

^----Yep. If that is what your burn says on your fitbit, I cannot imagine only netting 1200 calories!

I am dealing with the same thing and I am 30 years old. All I can say is change up your excercises that is what people told me and continue what you are doing because eventually those numbers will change. A guy told me do not focus on the number think about consistancy and your numbers are hanging around the same neighbor hood. I think it may be a possibility that your body is rejecting letting go of those last few pounds but eventually those numbers are going to drop over night. I have been holding on to my last 10lbs since 12/17 lol.

If that's what you did to get your other weight off, your body may be used too that by now. If so you hit a plateau. You may need to either up the intensity, up the time or completely try something new. :)

I had this problem. Your diary looks good from the random days I saw. is your exercise mostly cardio or strength training or both equally or...? I'd say eat a bit more, try to get to 1600 net every day [eat back your exercise calories] and up your exercise intensity a bit. If you're running or swimming, go for faster times. Lifting weights, go for higher weights a 5-8 reps. Try more exercises and make your hour sessions into 80-90 minute sessions. Try this for a few weeks [yes, it will take 2-3 weeks] and see if you're still stuck and not losing inches. Make sure you're eating enough carbs on workout days too, otherwise you'll burn out really quickly.

One thing that helped me a lot is to trade in my scale for a tape measure. I've been between 180 and 190 since November but I'm a lot stronger and a bit thinner than I was in October. So long as you're losing weight that number on the scale doesn't really mean much. This was the hardest thing for me to accept and I still get hung up on it, but knowing I look better helps.

    Good luck!

Well the DVD is a mix of strength, cardio and abs so I get a little bit of both. Mostly cardio when I add the walk/jog. Sounds like you think I should up my calories to 1,600 a day?

Reading back I'd start with this: Weigh your food and start using your fitbit to track your calories out, this will give you more accurate numbers. Then, try to level out at 1600 a day. If your exercise is a new program [started in the last 3 months] just keep at it.

Biggest thing, the last 10 pounds takes the longest. Your body is already healthier and more efficient so it takes more work than ever to keep losing. I've heard [and experienced] that losing a pound every 2 weeks is more likely for the last 5-10 pounds, but if you keep at it, you'll see progress! Then, just keep going and upping the intensity of your workouts and you'll be where you want to be in no time!

I agree with this. I think you are not weighing your food and I couldnt believe how much food is in the weight... I learned so much about portion control!!! But I have also found my last two to five pounds is going very slowly. I cant figure out how much I should weigh...I am in around the same plateau as you. I am going to friend request you.
I think you should get more protein too.

Wow, that's an amazing TDEE!!!! You should be able to eat way more than 1200. What's your net usually?? Set your fitbit and MFP to lose 0.5lb per week (250 less than your burn)
