    I vote yes. I routinely take cheese, lunch meat and even yogurt onto planes in my pockets and carry-on. Never had a problem.

    The cheese thing is not true. I have brought ham and cheese sandwiches through lots of times and they never said anything.

    Please don't. I would ralph if you were eating that next to me in an airplane. It's doubtful you will starve before you land.

    Now, if you're just trying to smuggle it home and have it in an airtight container, go for it! My boyfriend brought back Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches last time he was in Philly and they were awesome :)
