Help, can't save my data on Wii Fitness Plus

Just bought Wii consule and Wii Fitness Plus and balance board. I don;t have a SD card how do I save where I'm at to the consule? It keeps making me restart and picking a new Mii. H as anyone else had this problem? Appreciate any feedback!
