How soon did you see your 30 DS results?

I started the 30 Day Shred Level 1 on Tuesday. Don't worry, I'm not upset or surprised at not having seen results after the fourth day. But this week, since last Friday, I've gained 2.5 pounds. I didn't do great last weekend with food, so it's slightly understandable, but since Monday I've been exercising regularly and within my calorie goal. So I at least expected to maintain, not go up by 2.5 pounds! Can starting exercise like this make the scale do weird things? I mean, I know muscle weighs more than fat but there's no way I've really gained much muscle at all. Aside from that, when can I expect to start seeing the results of the shred? I know people say you see it more in how you look than on the scale, which I believe and like, but I guess I'm just super eager to see a reward from feeling like death on a daily basis LOL.
