Luckily Justified is starting up (have them saved) and Archer, which continues to be hilarious. . .

Not so wow for me...to the point I want even watching last one.

I don't know if I'm over Cumberbatch now everyone else loves him, OR it felt too much like someone pretending to be Sherlock (too much smiling and emotion I felt) or if I've just not read the books these are based on.....and that's always been it's appeal to me, how cleverly they can stick to a story.

    Right.

A few die hards have lamented the dearth of actual "sleuthing" . I don't know if it's a matter of course: we have two other franchises ongoing-- the Guy Ritchie franchise, and Elementary series, there maybe be a temptation to be edgier or relevant or. . I don't know: In Elementary they combined Moriarty and Adler into the same person. Geez.

I won't need to watch that episode now then. :)

I don't know, it just lacked some of the originality of the first series to me, could have been any bog standard tective show.
