I was pushing a stroller today on our brisk paced walk with my 30lb niece in it. When my daughter goes (24lbs) or i push a niece or nephew in a stroller while we walk on the trail- does it count for 'extra'???? I mean it's basically 'pushing a weight' in front of you as you walk?! So how do I figure in how much more for it? Or like my sister who pushes a double stroller with her two kids inside????

On the exercise tab, look up, "Walking with baby in stroller." It's on my exercise list. Good luck!
I know that it does make a difference between the double stroller, single stroller, or NO stroller. I usually don't account for weight differences in the strollers. The calorie count on here does add more calories in for your extra effort.0 -
i also push a 30 something pound child AND the weight of the jogger (that's at least another 10 pounds!) and the only thing i could find on here under the exercise tab is "walking with an infant or 15 pound load"...so for now that is the one i use....or get a heart rate monitor and you will know for sure the amount of calories burned :happy:0

Thanks- I looked it up and no results????? It's not showing!0 -
Hmmmm. Don't know........
I added it, but maybe it only appears on my list? You can do the same. Do a quick search online and find the calories burned and add it to your list. Hope that helps.

This site gets it a little bit closer -

It does your age, but not the weight of the children.
I think you lose a lot of the potential by having the weight on wheels. If you were actually carrying the child in a back back, you could choose hiking with a certain amount of weight.
Just guesses here, but hope it helps!0
