Juicing

Hi All,
I just got a nutri bullet a week or so ago and I have been loving it! So far I have been supplementing into my regular diet but keeping my calories around the 1200-1300 marker.
I feel great but I am considering doing a short juice cleanse... maybe three days or so ... has anyone tried this, did you feel too hungry doing it ? Did you loose weight? Any other useful information?
The one thing I have noticed with this machine is because all the veggies and fruit are whole I get really full all day and I'm actually feeling like it would be hard to heat my 1200-1300 ...
Any words of wisdom would be helpful!

Just don't. If you feel great, why would you change things up?

I personally don't think it's necessary to do a juice cleanse or any type of cleanse - your kidneys and liver do a pretty good job of cleaning out toxins - and you lose out on a fruit's fiber when you just drink the juice. I would be afraid I'd get too hungry by the end of the cleanse and end up eating peanut butter right out of the jar or something.
What you've been doing - drinking juice as part of a regular balanced diet - seems like the best way. But if you do end up doing the cleanse, let us know how it goes.0 -

QFT. The first post on that link is gold.
I've never done a cleanse. No intention of ever doing one. I think my body usually does a pretty good job. Sometimes when I'm eating screwy I feel like I should go take a Colase. But then I remember that I was put on that after my appendectomy and actually crapped myself, so I don't.
I've fasted on Yom Kippur, though, and at the end of ~24 hours, I want to eat ALL THE THINGS.0 -
Your kidneys and liver detox/cleanse your body enough. Drinking 1 or 2 of those a day is enough to get the right amount of vitamins/minerals a day along with your other foods...0

Ok so really late post, but I did a cleanse- a bottled one rather than the nutribullet , nothing crazy just a 3 day. Although I did eat a bag of kale chips with it. just one small bag across all three days. My cleanse was really yummy and I didn't feel depleted at all. I think the key was I timed it with a really crazy work week so I didn't really notice I wasn't stopping for traditional meals. I would def. do it again ... maybe in a couple weeks. It didn't really do anything for my weight loss, but I did feel like I had a lot of energy at the end and it was easier to go from that back to clean eating.0
