Fitbit and Calorie Logging

Hi,
I just got my new Fitbit Flex yesterday and today is my first full day of wearing it. This morning, I did 40 mins of belly dancing and the Fitbit only gave me 3 calories burned for it! I am sure it is just not picking it up because it's not as much step-based like walking, running, etc. Should I just log the belly dancing calories into MFP as I normally would? Thanks!

Yes, and if MFP and your Fitbit are connected your fitbit will pull that information from MFP and incorporate it into your daily totals.
Yesterday I shoveled, my fitbit didn't give me much for it. I added the activity to MFP (don't forget to add a start time) and the MFP information overrode what the fitbit had for that time period. This added 45 active minutes and changed my calories burned because I was way more active than my steps showed.0 -
Thank you!0
