It's time I got serious.

Hey, I have been here on and off for a while, but lack of support and motivation to keep on when things got hard have seen me 'forgetting' to keep on. Now, I really do want to lose the extra pounds my doctor keeps telling me I should drop. It's only 33 or so lbs, but those lbs are virtually guaranteeing that I will develop diabetes, like my father, and his father, and my uncle, and many other family members. So I guess this rambling on is my way of nervously asking if any experienced mfpers are willing to take me on, and help provide the support and friendship I missed the first few attempts. Drop me a friend request if anyone wants! Thanks guys and gals!

Hi Bekki Motivation is something that can only be supplied by you. Others can inspire and support and help you develop good habits. So that when your motivations is bad (which it is for us all at times) those habits keep you on the right track.

It's fantastic that you haven't given up just that shows you have the motivation and willingness to achieve your goals. I log daily and am also in the U.K. so feel free to add me if you wish
