I recently decided the talk is over it is time to make a real effort..I have gained weight over the last 3 years and on top of that last July I tore both my ACLs so I am limited on the activities I can do. I am scheduled to have surgery the end of March on my left knee and would like to lose as much weight as possible before, seeing that I won't be able to do much for a while after the surgery. Any suggestions or anyone willing to lend a friend some advise?

I'd love to help encourage/motivate you! I've lost about 60lbs and still losing. Clean eating and working out will take you far! I'll add you as a friend.0

I will send you a friend request, I had surgery due to a torn meniscus in Sept.. It took awhile but I feel much better. I enjoy exercising again. I find it hard to do things on my knees like search the cupboards. I did therapy on my own after surgery. I'm enjoying my fitness pal and writing down what I eat each day and getting the posts from my friends is a great motivator to keep on keeping on. It's also great when others post their weight loss and I like to look at other diaries to get menu ideas. enjoy your day,

I would love to help motivate you. It is the best thing you can do for yourself. I started my first real effort about three months ago and I can't believe how healthy and strong I feel already. You will set yourself up for a great recovery!0
