Scottish Fitness Pals??

Hey...Is there anyone else on here from Scotland looking for and willing to give a bit of encouragement & motivation? Loving the communtity vibe on here... great to spur each other on!! I just started MFP at the beginning of this month... I'm trying to stick to about 1300-1400 calories a day, shed about a stone and a half and just generally be a bit fitter & healthier. LETS DO IT!!!! Feel free to add me and i'll add you :-)

    Agree, I love the vibe when my MFP friends Like some activity or leave a positive comment. I feel as if I'd be letting them down if I didn't keep going! I've now been doing this for 16 days and lost 8lbs but as important - maybe more so - I feel better. Even on the days I don't get out on my bike or get to the gym I at least try to walk a little.
    Cycling to work - think I'll leave that till March :-):happy:

    Hello, American living in Scotland and new onto this site so HI. Started right after New Years and so far lost a few Kilos so off to good start but figure I would also try reaching out to a few folks. I am finding setting short term as well as long term goals is helping right now. In the grand scheme I want to loose about 3 stone by my brother wedding in October. But in the meantime been setting 2 pound (about a kilo) goals. So far lost 11 lbs this month and hoping to make it a full stone by February. For anyone interested also on pinterest and have boards with a collection of healthy recipes and also at home exercises and fitness motivation if anyone is interested.
