Example of crossfit workout(leg day)... Is this for you?

What I'll be doing at crossfit today is this(3rd week of 6 week leg cycle):

Six sets of:

Set 1 – 5 reps @ 75% of 1RM
Set 2 – 3 reps @ 85%
Set 3 – 1 rep @ 95%
Set 4-6 – (Tempo Back Squat :02 Pause at the bottom) – 3-5 reps @ 75%

Rest 2:00 between sets

Conditioning

For Time:

100 DU
25 WBS
75 DU
25 WBS
50 DU
25 WBS
25 DU
25 WBS

* 1 RM = 1 rep max

*DU = double under(skipping rope)

*WBS = 20lbs Wall Ball shot(men) , 16 lbs Wall Ball shot(women)


It's a 6 week cycle designed to improve leg strength. This is the 1st day of the third week.

Just so people know there is a 'program' aspect to crossfit as well.

    I LOVE/HATE cross fit!! I hate it when I'm doing it but love it once I finish something I didn't think I could!
