South Beach diet phase 1 with 1 cheat day implemented

Hi everyone. I'm curious if anyone has ever tried this. I was doing my research on the sbd phase 1 and noticed if you have more weight to lose you can do phase 1 for a few months. I love how I feel doing it but still want to live my life and have the dinner out once a week and glass of wine.

Has anyone ever tried doing phase 1 long term with a cheat day or meal implemented weekly? Please let me know your experience and the good/bad.

    That's basically just a low carb diet. People do it all the time, nothing wrong with it. Hit your calories and macros and you can eat however makes you feel best!
