waist stays the same

I have been between 195 - 199 pounds for the last 8 years or so. I'm 5'2" and wear a size 18w/20 jeans. A few years ago I did lose about 30 pounds but still wore the same size jeans. My family started calling me droopy drawers because I lost my butt and not my gut. I get discouraged when I see others my height and weight but with smaller size bellies. How do I lose the belly fat? I started doing some cardio and started logging my calories again. I'm just worried that I will lose weight and not go down any Jean sizes like last time.

I am built the same way. Just keep losing and your waist will go down. It may not be as noticeable in your waist as in say your legs, but you will lose in your waist. My legs were the most noticeable so I looked like a barrel on two sticks. LOL! I am trying to build up muscle in my legs and shoulders to counterbalance my belly.0

Mine goes away last, too! It doesn't start to go away at first, then it does but less quickly than other parts, and finally all my loss comes from there (pretty much). I'm finally at that point now, and I'm finally seeing numbers that sound more like it0
