Can anyone help me?
I lost 20lb in 2 months after starting to move more and exercise. Feel great and more energetic: 195 to 175 with no problems.
Weight: 175.2
Fat Mass: 21.5%
BMI 23.2
MY goal Weight is 165lb and my Fat mass <= 20%
But the last couple of weeks I seem to have come to a full stop …. and stopped losing. I downed my calories to 1200 (i.e. lose 2lb a week according to MFP) but again nothing happens after a week
I also upped my exercise to 500-800 calories per day - after I got a fitbit flex I need to walk 5 miles a day and do 10000 steps which uses up at least 500 calories.
I am always under my MFP calorie goal of 1200 but still stopped losing
Today I followed this link which suggests bringing my weekly weight loss to one lb per week (since I only want to lose another 10lb to get to my goal weight of 165) - http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/819055-setting-your-calorie-and-macro-targets
So now My Fitness Goals are:
1. Nutritional Goals:- NET calories Consumer per day = 1600
2. Fitness Goals:- Calories burned per week - 5,420
3. Diet Profile:-
a) Calories Burned from normal daily activity = 2,100 per day
b) NET calories consumed = 1,600 calories per day
c) Daily Calorie Deficit = 500 calories per day
3) Projected weight loss - alb per week
I have also bought a new set of digital food scales and started to weight everything / scan everything in from packages instead of just searching and selecting an item from MFP's database (many items seem to have the wrong nutritional info unfortunately).
So should 1:
(a) Eat more and exercise less
(b) Eat more and exercise as I am doing now
( c ) Be more patient
(d) Have liposuction (just a joke!)
Any help gratefully received!

I don't think men should ever eat 1200 calories. If you got a food scale, I'd try the 1600 calorie goal while using the scale. Also...be sure your calorie burns are accurate.C. You are male and are gaining muscle which is disguising fat loss on the scale.
He's not gaining muscle on 1200 calories. He's losing muscle!0 -

Eat what you should be eating, and be patient. You're looking at the last 10 lbs.... not the first 10.0
