There's no need to try it. Extreme change in dieting usually doesn't last and the approach he used doesn't need to be done unless one is obese and under supervision.
Calorie deficit works. One just has to be consistent with it.

I won't be trying it. But I love watching it- and the results he and the other guy who he got into it, were amazing.

My cousin and her husband did this. They had migraines, diarrhea, and lasted 2 or 3 weeks before they went and binged at a Chinese buffet. Whatever they lost they gained back immediately.
It's basically an informercial for a juicer disguised as a documentary.0 -

OK I figured it out..from the web site:

LOL so it is basically where you do a juice fast to eliminate toxins….
yea, OP I would stay away from this. Your body naturally detoxes itself and you can lose weight by eating real food, working out, hitting macros, and eating in calorie deficit..
please don't do this and torture yourself...0 -

I did it for ten days back in september, day two and three were the worst with migrains, I'm a vegetarian and eat pretty clean, so it wasn't too bad with other symptoms, I actually had a lot of energy the rest of the week, I lost 8 lbs, and gaind it all back the next month. I wouldnt do it again, I was more looking for a detox, jumpstart, I stopped drinking caffeine and havent really picked it up again, so that's my one positive.0

I have done for 30 days and have stopped taking all medications following my doctor's advice. No more blood pressure, gout meds and I am no longer pre diabetic. My skin is wonderful and my taste buds re-educated. I no longer drink low cal diet drinks and do not want to eat bread anymore.
I crave vegetables and I am no longer a chocolate addict. I carry on having one juice a day, this is a way of life for me now. On top of that I lost 25 lbs.
Don't knock it if you have not tried it.0 -
I am confident that it could work particularly if you change your diet after you have finished your juice fast. What I don't like is the money involved in juicing.

If putting your food through a machine keeps you from overdoing junk food that's ruining your diet, go for it. But if you can do it without the machine, do that. Or if you can at least use a blender so you get the plant fiber and not just the concentrated calories from the juice, do that. But definitely try eating a healthy diet first. It's a lot better for your mental relationship with food and it's a good skill for the long haul.0

Nope. 10 days. Was still fat, even sicker, wished I was dead.
This is a marketing scam to make a **** ton of money. It works because you're lowering your calorie intake.
But you could do that with FOOD.
If you actually want to "cleanse", try a 24 hour one. But 60+ days is extreme and totally non-sustainable.

I did it last summer and made it to 32 days. I lost around 20lbs but it was hard and I was starving. At the end of it, I was getting dizzy at work. I think it's okay for a couple days but after that? Meh. I've done much better by counting calories and limiting my carbs.0
