Hi there everyone
I have 2 big days of hiking ahead of me (Sun and Mon) with an anticipated daily burn in the 4000-6000 range. I just got myself back on track w my eating after falling off the wagon while camping (a week ago), so i am a bit nervous about going OVER my calories tomorrow but i KNOW that i will be needing that energy desperately come sunday..... so here is the question: do i go over my allotment tomorrow in anticipation of the energy demand come sunday, and if yes, by how much? Would you suggest carbs, fats, protein, what? I dont want to get in the habit of eating a lot or whatever the heck i want, regardless of how healthy or not it is (can we say roasted marshmallows? lol) and its hard to eat THAT many calories while on the trail, so at least some energy needs to be 'pre-loaded'
thanks!

thanks!
