Hello Everyone!
Been a member for a week now and delighted with an 8lb loss so far.
Am a busy, working, single Mum of one and I was on the Slimming World plan for 18 months and took a break in October having 'stuck' after a 2 stone loss. Gained a stone since then/over Xmas which I need shift, then more. Total 6 stone left to lose.
Interestingly, SW promote and eat as much as you like of FREE foods. I started MyFitnessPal for a few days doing the Slimming World plan and was racking up over 2500 calories!!! How wonder my weight was sticking! Now I am just calorie counting and finding the barcode scanner amazing. It's actually really tough learning calories again and sticking to 1200 calories a day. I actually let myself have up to 1500 on a Saturday and Sunday if I really need extra. So far delighted with results. Although I have had a small gain this morning.
Am finding if I eat breakfast I am hungry all day. So try to save as many calories as I can for evening when the munchies kick in.
How's everyone else finding it?

Well done for starting MFP and figuring out the plans like Slimming World and Weight Watchers can fall down in some areas.
But why only 1200 calories?0 -
I find that it is not so much about how many calories you eat but what calories you eat. I understand that SW says you can have as many of the "Free" foods but obviously you found issue with that. Plus you said you are still hungry. I find adding in healthy fats (avocados, coconut oils etc) will help keep me fuller much longer. The plateaus can be a pain. My husband was stuck on one for nearly 2 years. He had dropped 75 lbs (5.4 stones) so he looked good but just had a few more to lose. We finally tweaked his diet and exercise a bit and he has broke the plateau and is down another stone.0
