Hey everybody! I'm Yorria and I'm new to myfitnesspal. I actually joined early this month but was hit for a solid 2 weeks with the worst flu I've ever gotten and I've only just started to feel like myself again, so ready to get started.

I'm 23 years old (female), and I've lost 50 pounds in the last 12 months by making small life changes. However, I still want to lose another 50 pounds but have found my progress halted a few months ago (not gaining anything back, just sorta staying in the same spot).

I want to start incorporating calorie counting and exercise into my life so I thought myfitnesspal would be a great way to do it.

I have not be able to do much exercising due to a knee that was damaged during an accident however I have purchased a nice quality rebounder (mini-trampoline) and I'm finding I can exercise on it and not be in pain so I'm ready to get started on my way to a healthier life.

Its good to meet all of you!

  • Welcome to MFP. This is a great site with supportive people.

Glad to hear you are feeling better, I had the flu pretty bad at the end of term last month, so I'm wallowing in my finals right now as well as attending classes.

Best of luck in your weight loss goals.
