Morning Workout Buddies??

Hi Everyone!

As I was logging my workout from this morning, I noticed that I only have one or two other MFP buddies that workout in the mornings. I would love some support when I am up kicking the sun's booty to kingdom-come at 5am.

    I am NOT a morning person, but I'm up at 5:30 to work out...lol and really it Should be closer to 5 to get to work on time.

    The more the merrier with getting ourselves out of our warm bed and into the cold living room to work out (at least for me) I don't know how others drive to a gym at 'oh my gosh its early' o'clock.

    I'm not really a morning person, either. Its just the only time I have for myself to workout. And it is COLD in the basement! Alarm goes off at 4:45AM so I am awake enough to do the stairs to the basement without falling on my face :)

    That's when my alarm goes off, too!! at 5am I'm popping in my P90X DVD of the day and starting to kick some *kitten*

  • Well I am a morning person and its the only time I can actually motivate myself enough to really get a good work out! Love it! Its rough to get going but once I do it feels great to get up and get moving
    I do a kick box video, fun fun!!

    I'd love to go on morning workouts, but they never seem to well... work out. ;)

    How do you guys manage to get yourselves out of bed that early?! This is really an honest question because I don't think I've ever done it before. Also because I feel so starved in the morning, and I feel like I have no fuel to go on. Share your energy and advice, please!

    I just get up and go... I don't give myself time to think about an excuse. I put out my clothes to workout in (if I don't wear them to bed to cheat the system) and also get everything ready for work the next day so I can just go to it. I honestly don't give myself time to feel hungry, and have a protein shake immediately after working out.

    The first week of morning workouts are tough, but your body will get used to them. Make sure you hit the hay early enough to give yourself enough time for quality zzz's :)
