Hi... again

Morning everyone! I'm returning to MFP after a long absence, and looking to add some friends. I've got a lot to lose - about 65 lbs - and am both eager to get started and nervous about making changes to my lifestyle. I'm incredibly out of shape, suspect that I've got PCOS, and it seems that I'm always low on time (work full time, have a 3 1/2 year old, etc.) But I want to be a healthy role model for my son, and feel good when out in public, so no excuses. I've eaten whatever I wanted to for 4 years now, been horrible about exercise, and it definitely shows! I plan on working to find ways of eating that fit in to my life - which means I won't be a "clean" eater, but that I want to re-learn how to eat in moderation and enjoy going out, having treats, and enjoying good food, even if it's got preservatives in it!

My diary is open, though this morning is the first entry in I don't know how long, so it's not very informational yet.

Anyhow, I'm glad to be back and join you all on this journey!

    It's my first day back in over a year too! I've gained back all the weight I lost and then some. Here's to another go and making it stick this time...? Yay us!

    I have PCOS as well (And hypothyroidism too). I've managed to lose 129lbs in 5 yrs and through 2 pregnancies, slow going at times. Feel free to add me if you would like!

    I"m climbing back on the wagon myself. Focusing on exercise myself since I can only get so much progress with diet alone. I'm also in the Denver are and can always use encouragement and cheer my fellow members. Feel free to add me.

    I've been on this site off and on for a couple of years (though mostly off). I am trying to get back into tracking and dropping this weight. I have to say it was quite a reality check when I went back and looked at my previous weigh-ins from a couple years ago and realized how much I had truly put on. If anyone would like to add me, please do. I can always use the extra motivation and love to see how my friends are doing on their journey as well!
  • Hi my name is Regina Stevens-Poulos and I have been trying to lose weight since I had my daughter two years ago and every time i do lose it i gain it right back. I need some people that I can talk to that can help me when I need it ( even if it is online) someone that can tell me that I can do it. I am a stay at home mom with my youngest daughter and my older daughter is in school and the hubby works. I have tried the gym but it does not seem to be showing any improvements for me. I am looking for friends who can help me through my weight lose journey as well as after it.
