I can't seem to break through the 215 lb barrier! Help!

Hello my fellow MyFitnessPal friends! I am having a hard time breaking through a psychological barrier. For the past 12-15 months, I have been fluctuating from 215-235 lbs, but can't seem to drop below 215. Every time I reach 215, something happens and I sabotage my efforts unknowingly.
How can I break through this barrier? I would like to hear from anyone, especially those who have faced this issue before.
Thanks

Get your mind right, decide on this as a life choice and do it.. Your fluctuating 20 lbs meaning your just eating whatever you want for a prolonged period of time.. then you spend however many months trying to lose that..
My guess, your doing some crash diet eating 1200 calories.. you lose the weight.. then fall off the wagon and eat for a few months and decide its time to lose again.. I could be wrong.. Read and do some searches on TDEE and BMR.. get those numbers, understand them.. then you can enjoy life while still losing weight instead of restricting yourself and failing.0 -
You are absolutely right. My mind has been in the wrong place. I fluctuate exactly as you have said. Thanks for the ideas to learn about BMR and TDEE. I have never really thought about those ideas.0
