I'm manly. Two years of lifting.

These pictures were taken a few days apart. I'm a competitive natural bodybuilder, but in normal clothes I don't even look like I lift.

Not as 'manly' as LuLu, but working on it. First I have to be less...fluffy, lol.

Awful pictures are awful (the lighting *cringe*), but alas my husband didn't want to get off the couch for me. Clearly I need to show him who wears the (yoga) pants around here.

I love this  For so many years I was ashamed of my the fact I am not petite and have a more muscular build. I used to avoid weights like the plague at the gym and wouldn't use the step machine because I was so afraid I get a "big" butt.

Now thanks to women like you all I am proud of the fact I have muscle definition and have started to learn to love my body type and embrace the fact that strong is sexy.

    Kudos to you all x

Here's me doing an assortment of manly things:

    ddec1ab6ec3911e2a32722000aa800c4_7.jpg

And now, this one has been called "mannish"... which I'm guessing is a cross between "manly" and "poor English"... I do know it's not super pretty, but I don't look pretty when I'm brushing my teeth either *shrug*

Here I'm hoping all the pink will offset my manliness:

Now that I'm looking... I'm finding it hard to find any that aren't manly :ohwell:

This one is almost proof of a vajayjay... sorta.

I am sick and tired of reading that girls with muscles are manly. If you personally do not like it, then don't attempt it!

I work my freaking *kitten* off trying to build muscle. As a woman who doesn't use steroids to do so it is a VERY slow process. It takes time, effort and dedication. To hear other women fret about looking "manly" and how they don't want to wake up one day ripped to shreds with bulging muscles is very insulting, naive, uneducated, etc, etc, etc.....

Please educate yourselves before making broad generalizations about a body type that you seem to know nothing about nor wish to attain.

Here are my "manly" muscles. I am quite proud of what I have accomplished in just one year of lifting. I look like this flexed, but unflexed you wouldn't really notice my arms....just saying.
