Start a weightlifting regimen, and gained weight?

Have you started lifting weights and gained weight, now nothing? Your body wised up and adapted to the punishment. To keep growing, start building muscle outside the gym, with nutrition and lifestyle choices. Bolster your workout with small meals or snacks before and after, and continue to eat frequently throughout the day. In the weight room, for 3 weeks make your sets last longer than 40 seconds (to gain size),..and no my lady friends, you will not become Hulk Hogan in the process :wink: then keep them under 25 seconds for the next 3 weeks (to build strength). Continue to alternate between these approaches and you'll soon break out of that holding pattern.
